ORing’s IGS-3044GP/GC series is a new fully managed switch of IGS family, a series of full Gigabit Ethernet switches, that supports 8 Gigabit ports with 4 ports of 10/100/1000Based-Tx and 4 ports of 1000Based-Fx with SFP sockets or 4 Gigabit Combo ports with SFP sockets which achieve the demands of multiple flows in the Gigabit environment.
Complete network traffic control and management is also assured through the advanced software features of IGS-3044GP/GC series, including DHCP Server, VLAN、QoS, MSTP, RSTP, LLDP, 802.1x, IGMP snooping, SNMP, LACP, etc. Especially, IGS-3044GP/GC supports MSTP, which make it more convenient to connect to the other vendors’ enterprise switches in the backbone network directly. IGS-3044GP/GC series also supports various ORing’s private network redundant technologies, such as O-RSTP, O-Ring、Open-Ring, etc., which minimize the recovery time of redundant ring and the risk of the data loss accidently. Thus, the reliability of the local network could be assured.
Moreover, IGS-3044GP/GC series is free bundled with the enhanced Windows network management Utility – Open-Vision—to provide the users another enhanced tool to manage and monitor the whole local network. Open-Vision could configure all Ethernet switches in the local network by a single step, the built-in topology view could show the topology of ORing’s Ethernet switches in local network, and the network flow analysis could monitor the traffic flows among ORing’s Ethernet switches in the local network. Open-Vision provides great advantages for the administrators to monitor and manage the whole network.
In addition, with built-in advanced feature of DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring), IES-3044GP/GC series could recognize different mode of SFP transceivers, i.e., 100Base-Fx mode or 1000Base-X mode, and monitor the status of SFP instantly, for example, the voltage, current, temperature, connection of SFP transceivers. Moreover, IGS-3044GP/GC series has range from 12~48 VDC redundant power inputs and also supports power relay, which could help the users to detect the failure of power input.
